Jonathan Turley’s blog has a post about how over 200 lawsuits have been filed against Yamaha for its Rhino, a new breed of ATV called a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) which allegedly is dangerously unstable and prone to tipping over. Turley links to a WSJ article. The Rhino, a two-seat vehicle that Turley says looks like a golf cart on steroids, has been involved in 30 deaths. This new type of off road vehicle is not subject to any federal regulations.
